Court SHUT DOWN Travel Ban Trump Stuck Back with This BRUTAL THREAT

Just an hour ago the 9th Appeals Court of San Francisco ruled to uphold the suspension of Donald Trump’s travel ban of 7 terror plagued countries.

Can bet the President Trump was NOT happy to hear this. That’s why he immediately shot back with a Tweet and Facebook post that has the liberals scared like little babies…

 trump

Trump Tweeted:

SEE YOU IN COURT! THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE

He is right. This is not just some stupid game Donald Trump is playing. ISIS is a very serious threat to Western democracy as a whole and they are using the refugee programs from these countries to sneak in and establish terror colonies across Europe!

US District Judge James Robart in Seattle, Washington today ruled against government lawyers’ claims that the states did not have the standing to challenge Trump’s order and said they showed their case was likely to succeed.

He doubled down on his threat when he told reporters in the West Wing.

“It’s a very very serious situation so we look forward to seeing them in court.”

They have no idea the can of worms they just opened. Donald Trump LOVES lawsuits. He is the king of them. Now that they are threatening his country and right to lead, there is gonna be Hell to pay.

How to SEO Pins on Pinterest

Want to get your pins in front of customers?

Have you considered using promoted pins?

Pinterest promoted pins can help you drive referral traffic and increase sales.

In this article, Zia Ahsan SEO Specialist discovers how to create promoted pins on Pinterest.

pinterest promoted pins

Discover how to create and use promoted pins on Pinterest.

Why Promoted Pins on Pinterest?

Pinterest’s promoted pins, which are now available to all businesses, are designed to increase visibility to a targeted audience.

They help you get your products or location in front of people who are far along in the buying process and ready to make a purchase.

Promoted pins are searchable, so you can add keywords to connect with users who are searching for content like yours.

pinterest promoted pins

Promoted pins will show up in relevant searches, which can help you connect with users who are further along in the buying cycle.

With promoted pins, you’re paying to have your pins placed where users are most likely to notice and interact with them.

The promoted pins that users see are based on their interests and activity on the site. Users can’t turn off promoted pins, but they can hide specifically promoted pins that they don’t like.

Here’s how to get started with promoted pins for your business.

#1: Understand Campaign Objectives

Just like with other types of social media ads, you can run promoted pin campaigns based on specific goals and objectives. There are three objectives you can choose from:

  • Engagement: Get engagement on your pins, such as repins, clicks, and close-up views of your pins. You pay per action was taken.
  • Traffic: Send traffic to your website when users click through your pins. In this case, you pay per click to your site.

This pin was promoted to drive traffic.

  • Awareness: Use promoted pins to introduce and expose your brand to a relevant audience. Awareness pins are currently available only to Fortune 500 companies who have a minimum monthly ad spend, but that may change in the future.

Promoted pins, like other social media ads, work on a bid system, so keep this in mind when setting your budget.

#2: Create a Promoted Pin

To create and use Pinterest’s promoted pins, you need to have a business account. If you don’t already have one, you can either create a new account or convert your current Pinterest profile to a business account.

Once your account is set up and ready to go, hover over Ads at the top left of the Pinterest home page and select Overview.

ads dashboard provides overview of pinterest campaigns

Pinterest’s ads dashboard gives you an overview of your current campaigns.

This article walks you through how to create an engagement promoted pin, but traffic promoted pins work exactly the same way. From the Ads Manager, click on the Promote button next to Engagement Campaigns.

select the type of campaign

Click the Promote button next to the type of campaign you want to create.

Next, select Boost Engagement With Your Pins. If you want a traffic campaign, you’d choose to Get Traffic to Your Website.

select campaign goal

Select the goal for your campaign.

On the next page, name your campaign, select a start and end date (the end date is optional), and choose a daily budget. I recommend setting an end date since you can only have daily budgets instead of lifetime budgets. If you don’t set an end date, make sure you keep an eye on the campaign so you don’t spend more than you intended.

add campaign name, run dates and budget

Add a name, start and end date, and daily budget for your campaign.

After you click Pick a Pin, you’ll see a list of your pins. Select the pin you want to use for your campaign. If you want, you can search for a pin using the search box, or view the pin that’s been most clicked or the most repinned in the past 30 days.

select the pin for the campaign

Select the pin you want to use for your campaign.

After you select your pin, enter a name for your promoted pin and set a destination URL. Make sure that the URL goes to the specific page where you want users to land, not a generic homepage.

pinterest promoted pins

For the destination URL, enter the specific page you want users to go to.

In the next section, select relevant topics that will help you reach your target audience in their home feeds. You want your pin to be placed in the right Pinterest categories so users come across it while browsing. Make sure to choose only relevant interests for your pin, not random interests your audience might have (as you might do on Facebook). This step is about pin placement, so it needs to be accurate.

pinterest promoted pins

Select only relevant interests for your pin.

Next, select keywords to add to your promoted pin so your pin will pop up when users search for those keywords. This is important for connecting with users far along in the buying cycle (which they normally are if they’re searching for something specific).

When you type a keyword in the search box, Pinterest will show you relevant keywords (and related keywords) you can add to your campaign. Click a specific keyword to add it. The keywords you’ve added to your campaign are shown in blue.

pinterest promoted pins

Choose as many keywords as you’d like to add to your campaign.

Now choose the geographic locations, languages, devices, and genders you want to target.

pinterest promoted pins

These targeting options help you reach the right audience.

At the bottom of the page, you need to enter a maximum CPE (cost per engagement) bid. This is the maximum amount you’re willing to spend on your bid. Pinterest gives you a range of what advertisers are currently bidding to help you make this decision. Pinterest will tell you if your bid is low, good, or strong.

pinterest will tell you how your bid ranks

Pinterest tells you how your bid ranks compared to other advertisers’ bids.

The last step is to enter your payment information and set up your billing if you haven’t done so already. Keep in mind that there’s no review page, so make sure your campaign is how you want it before you click Submit. You can’t change the creative of your ad once you submit it.

You can edit certain details about your campaigns at any time, including the campaign name, end date, and daily spend, as well as pause the campaign. To access the campaign you just created, go to the Ads Manager Overview page and click on View All next to the campaign type.

pinterest promoted pins

To find a campaign, click on View All next to the campaign type.

From the Overview page, you can view your campaign’s progress, edit certain details, and export data for the campaign.

pinterest promoted pins

The Overview page shows the specifics of your campaign and allows you to export the campaign’s data.

Keep in mind that the campaign won’t run while pending approval.

#3: Set Up a Conversion Tag to Track Performance

To see how well your promoted pins are performing, you’ll want to set up Pinterest’s conversion tracking. To do this, you add a snippet of code, called a conversion tag, to your website to track referral traffic behavior.

To create a conversion tag, select Conversion Tracking from the Ads drop-down menu.

pinterest promoted pins

You can access conversion tracking from the Ads drop-down menu.

From here, you can review all of the conversion tags you currently have or create new ones.

pinterest promoted pins

View and create new conversion tags on the Conversion Tracking page.

When you create a new tag, add a name for it, choose an objective to track (Page Visit, Sign Up, Check Out, or Custom), and select time frames for clicks, engagements, and views.

pinterest promoted pins

Customize your conversion tag.

After you click Create Tag, Pinterest displays your conversion tag. Copy this snippet of code and paste it into the webpage or website you want to track.

pinterest promoted pins

Place this snippet of code on your website.

It doesn’t appear that you have to add these tags to specific campaigns and that they’ll be applied to all of them automatically.

As with individual campaigns, you can export the data from a conversion tag.

Final Thoughts

As Pinterest continues to gain new users who make buying decisions on the site, promoted pins will only increase in value to businesses. Having a well-placed promoted pin, optimized for visibility, can help you connect with a relevant audience that’s ready to buy.

How to Allow Users to Subscribe to Authors in WordPress

How to Allow Users to Subscribe to Authors in WordPress ?

Have you ever wanted to allow users to subscribe to specific authors in WordPress?

If you run a multi-author WordPress site, then your users may want to subscribe to their favorite author. In this article, we will show you how to allow users to subscribe to individual authors in WordPress.

Why Add Subscribe to Authors in WordPress?

Most large multi-author blogs like Huffington Post allow users to follow their favorite authors. You can offer this feature in your multi-author WordPress site as well.

WordPress generates RSS feeds for all authors, categories, tags, custom post types, and comments on your site.

However, your users can’t see these feeds link without knowing where to look.

As a site owner, you just need to add links and subscription options so that users can subscribe to authors.

Having said that, let’s take a look at how to allow users to easily subscribe to authors in WordPress.

Subscribe to author

Adding Subscribe to Authors Feature in WordPress

All the authors on your WordPress site have an RSS feed of their own. This RSS feed is located at a URL like this:

http://www.example.com/author/tom/feed/

Don’t forget to replace ‘tom’ with an existing author’s name on your site.

Many WordPress themes come with a section that displays author’s biographical information at the end of the article. You can add this HTML code in an author’s bio section to display a link to their RSS feed.

1 <a href="http://www.example.com/author/tom/feed">Subcribe Tom's Posts</a>

Adding a subscribe to author link in author bio section

You can also automatically generate the link and use a shortcode to manually insert it into posts.

First, you need to add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or a site-specific plugin.

01 // Function to generate author's RSS feed link
02
03 function wpb_author_feed() {
04
05 $authorfeed = get_author_feed_link( get_the_author_id(), '');
06
07 $authorfeedlink = '<a href='. $authorfeed . '>Subscribe to get more posts from ' . get_the_author_meta( 'display_name') .'' ;
08
09 return $authorfeedlink;
10
11 }
12 // Create a shortcode to display the link
13 add_shortcode('authorfeed', 'wpb_author_feed');
14
15 // Enable shortcode execution in WordPress text widgets
16 add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

You can now just use the shortcode [authorfeed] in your posts, and it will automatically generate a link to the post author’s RSS feed. Feel free to customize the text you want to display for the link.

Subscribe to author link

Add a Subscribe to Author Link in the Sidebar

We will be using the shortcode method we showed above to display a subscribe to author link in the sidebar of your WordPress blog. Simply go to Appearance » Widgets page and add a text widget to your sidebar.

Adding subscribe to author link in WordPress sidebar widget

You will need to add [authorfeed] shortcode in the text area of the widget. After that, don’t forget to click on the save button to store widget settings.

You can now visit your website to see the sidebar in action.

The problem with this method is that it will display the widget on every page including the homepage, category, and tag archives, etc.

You need to install and activate the Display Widgets plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Upon activation, you need to visit the Widgets page and edit the author’s feed widget you added earlier.

Display widget rules

You will notice new options to control widget display on different pages of your site. Now you need to select ‘Show on checked pages’, and then check the single post option.

Don’t forget to click on the save button to store your widget settings.

That’s all you can now visit your website to see your author subscription link in action. You can use a little CSS to create a button, or add an image icon as the subscription.
